This mojo packed 1967 Gretsch Country Gentleman is one of the most beloved vintage Gretsch guitars. Serialized 57626, this 50 year old guitar sounds amazing and plays like butter. It features semi-hollow maple construction, a maple neck with thumbnail inlaid, 1-11/16" width rosewood fingerboard, original Filter'Tron humbuckers, completely working bridge mute, Gretsch/Bigsby tailpiece, original Grover "hump-back" tuners, ebony bridge base with metal saddle, 2 pickup volumes, master volume, 3 way switch, and 3 way tone switch with standby switch. This guitar is also apparently signed by Chet, but we make no claims to authenticity.

This guitar is healthy for it's age and completely structurally sound! It does have a number of scattered finish checks on the top and back, and the binding is missing pieces in a couple areas, although compared to most, it's not that bad. The binding is also loose in one area near the neck joint. The original frets have a good amount of life left and there are no issues there currently, nor with the neck angle. The gold hardware is faded fairly heavily, some areas more than others. Overall, nothing out of the ordinary or no real red flags on this one. Also includes the super cool original Gretsch case.
