Up for sale is this 2000 Gibson Les Paul Custom '68 reissue, in a beautiful tri-burst finish! These early 2000s reissues, and all Gibsons from that era are considered great value instruments packed with excellent quality and tone, maybe some leftover mojos from the famed 90s classics?
Weighs in at 9 pounds 11 ounces, with every ounce packed with tone, this beast was built based on the customs from a remarkable year when Gibson just decided to re-start the single-cut Les Paul line in 1968. It boasts a beautiful flamed maple top over a carefully selected one-piece mahogany body, a mahogany set neck carved to a late '60s profile with long neck tenon, a dark real ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays (not rechlite as the current Les Paul customs), a pair of ultra powerful and punchy '57 classic humbucking pickups, 14 degrees headstock angle, split diamond headstock inlay, a gold ABR bridge with Thumbwheels, multi-ply body binding, and Grover Rotomatic tuners.
This guitar is in very good condition with only some light surface swirls and picking scratches. It's structurally sound and plays and sounds great!
Serialized 080108. Weighs 9 pounds 11 ounces. Includes the original hardshell case.
