Description

With its single-cutaway design and onboard Fishman Presys II Preamp System, the C5-CE SP from Cordoba is a nylon-string acoustic/electric guitar styled in a gloss polyurethane finish. Its top is crafted of solid Engelmann spruce, while the back and sides are fashioned from mahogany. A traditional wood rosette adorns the sound hole, and other appointments such as Indian rosewood binding round out the aesthetics of the body.

Its neck is slightly thinner than Cordoba’s traditional Spanish Classical guitar models, offering a narrow 50mm nut width. Also, the neck offers a scale length of 25.5”, a C-shaped profile, and a pau ferro fingerboard complete with 19 frets.

Cordoba gold tuning machines secure the strings to the headstock, while a pau ferro bridge affixes strings to the body, and a bone nut and saddle offer additional resonance and clarity. Finally, by means of a dual-action adjustable truss-rod, you can fine-tune the action of the guitar if needed, to compensate for changes in string tension or climate.

For electronics, this guitar is equipped with a Fishman Presys II Preamp System, which provides two tonal controls for bass and treble as well as a volume knob and a phase switch for inverting polarity onstage, thereby fighting feedback. A tuner is included and an undersaddle pickup rounds out the electronics.

This is an example of the guitar you will receive.
