The Twin was Fender's original two 12-inch speaker tube amp launched in 1952.  The original Twin was supplanted by the Twin Reverb in 1963 which has since earned a place as one of Fender's most iconic amps. Starting in the late '60s, the Twin Reverb switched from Blackface to a Silverface style cabinet. 1976 is the first year of production for the push/pull distortion switch master volume, which makes this year of Twin Reverb extra cool. 100 watts really push the 2 x 12" speakers. This baby is loud and full of tone!
