The 2009 Gibson Flying V is an electric guitar that pays homage to the classic design of the original Flying V model from the 1950s. It features a sleek and striking body shape, with sharp angles and a distinctive V silhouette that sets it apart from other guitars. Crafted with a solid mahogany body and a set mahogany neck, this Flying V delivers a warm, rich tone that's perfect for a wide range of musical styles, from classic rock and blues to heavy metal and beyond. The neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard and features 22 frets, providing plenty of space for solos and intricate playing. The 2009 Flying V is also equipped with a pair of Gibson's renowned 496R and 500T humbucking pickups, which deliver a powerful, high-output sound with plenty of sustain and clarity. The guitar also features a Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, which provide excellent tuning stability and intonation.
