The Harmony H62 stands as one of the most celebrated dual-pickup archtop electric guitars produced during the Golden Era of American guitar manufacturing. Built in Chicago during the 1960s, this flagship model features a fully hollow laminated spruce top with maple back and sides, generating a naturally warm, resonant acoustic voice with excellent midrange warmth. It comes equipped with a pair of legendary "Gibson-designed" Seth Lover single-coil pickups (often referred to as "Hershey Bar" or "P-13" style pickups), offering an inspiring array of tones ranging from woody, articulate jazz comping to gritty, biting blues and rockabilly crunch.
This vintage example showcases a classic, deep sunburst finish with multi-ply body binding, bound f-holes, block fretboard inlays, and the iconic white "tortoise" pickguard and headstock overlay. The chunkier 1960s neck profile offers a substantial feel in hand, delivering incredible sustain and authentic vintage character across the rosewood fingerboard.
