Combining expansive 12-string shimmer with the effortless playability that helped define Taylor's early 12-string guitars, the Legacy K65e LTD delivers an immersive, inspiring playing experience. Boasting a curvaceous, non-cutaway Jumbo body crafted from gorgeously figured Hawaiian koa, this limited-edition model features a nuanced variant of our X-bracing architecture refined personally by Bob Taylor. The result is an exceptionally full, room-filling voice with a rich midrange response, complex octave textures and impressive dynamic range. As this model is played over time, its voice will continue to develop and mature, taking on a sweeter, warmer acoustic character. A slender Taylor neck featuring Bob's patented NT neck design provides a smooth, comfortable feel, making this 12-string remarkably easy to play. Visual details echo Taylor's heritage, including a straight-ear peghead and GA-LTD fretboard and peghead inlays in agoya shell that trace their roots back to 1995. Faux-tortoiseshell binding with green abalone top purfling, a green abalone rosette and a full-body gloss finish complete the look. Equipped with Baggs Element VTC electronics, the Legacy K65e LTD comes in a deluxe hardshell case. To honor Taylor’s 52nd year of guitar making, production will be limited to 52 guitars. Each will feature a Legacy Collection back label hand-signed by co-founders Bob Taylor and Kurt Listug.
