Blending classic Style 28 appointments with carefully selected premium tonewoods and modern stage-ready functionality, this Martin Custom Shop D-14 Fret is a standout dreadnought built. Featuring an Adirondack spruce top paired with premium Wild Grain East Indian rosewood back and sides, this custom build delivers the powerful projection, dynamic range, and rich overtone content that have made the dreadnought one of Martin's most iconic designs. The stunning Ambertone 1933 finish, applied in the Toasted Burst pattern, adds a vintage-inspired aesthetic that beautifully complements the natural character of the tonewoods.
Built on an HD-28-inspired platform, this guitar features forward-shifted Adirondack Golden Era scalloped bracing, a GE Modified Low Oval neck profile with High Performance Taper, ebony fingerboard and bridge, traditional herringbone top trim, and diamonds & squares long fingerboard inlays. For players who need exceptional plugged-in performance, Martin equipped this custom instrument with an LR Baggs Anthem pickup system, offering studio-quality acoustic tone for the stage and recording environments alike. Includes the original molded hardshell case and Martin Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity.
