It has been a dream of mine for years to design a guitar that combines some of my favorite vintage specifications with a modern spirit and aesthetic. The PRS Silver Sky is a perfected version of a vintage single-coil guitar, where every detail contributes to making this instrument stand out from both the past and the competition. Born from a close collaboration between Grammy Award-winning musician John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith, the Silver Sky is the result of years of development. By blending their favorite features from 1963 and 1964 models with a modern perspective, the PRS Silver Sky offers the warmth and familiarity of a vintage guitar while maintaining the precision of a new instrument.
