Trading In or Selling Used Gear at MMM 

We love used gear at MMM—and we love trading with you! Manchester Music Mill buys and sells a full range of musical equipment with emphasis on guitars, and other fretted instruments, amplifiers, live performance and sound equipment, recording equipment, digital keyboards, and synthesizers.  

To help make the process smooth and save you from hanging around the store for hours (unless that’s your thing!), you are welcome and encouraged to reach out ahead of time. This allows us to do all the research and prep work before you bring your gear in. 

Here’s how to get started 

  • Text us at (603) 623-8022 
  • Include: 
  • A list of the gear you’re looking to trade or sell 
  • Pertinent info (brand, model, etc.) 
  • Serial numbers (if available) 
  • Condition 
  • Photos 

This helps us assess everything and give you a ballpark estimate before you lug it all in. If you have an estate, or an extremely large collection, needing assessment in advance of a potential transaction, we can often arrange an on-site visit get a complete inventory of items and their conditions.  

Bringing Gear In 

Once we’ve communicated with you via text, and established a ballpark number for your gear, you can bring in your gear to finalize the transaction. A heads-up as to when you plan to arrive is great so we can communicate to our staff what they should be expecting to see that day. It helps us to provide a timelier transaction for you. 

If you have a larger collection (5 or more items) of gear, please schedule a time to bring your gear by. Some parts of the day/week are busier than others, and scheduling helps us give your gear the attention it deserves—without you having to wait around.
