Yep, this is the real deal. folks! A genuine Klon Centaur Overdrive! The "Horsie" artwork with the "short tail" places this pedal as being made somewhere between 1998 and 2003, which is matched by the date code on the footswitch from 1998. The Volume and Treble pots feature the correct date codes for the era as well, 9924.

The serial number of 2025 is written in the correct gold sharpie for a unit with a gold enclosure.

The pedal is in good cosmetic condition as seen in the photos, with a few scuffs on the gold paint, and the bottom portion of the E in "Centaur" worn off. There is a small sticker added next to the power jack that notes that this pedal takes a 9v Center Positive power supply, the opposite polarity as most guitar pedals.
