Description
This a rare instrument here: a 1962 Classical guitar made by Spanish Luthier Manuel De La Chica!
Dated "1962 Mayo" on label, this handmade classical features a smaller than average body paired with a slightly longer scale length, resulting in a tone that is outspoken for size!
It has been paired with a well-fitting unbranded modern case, and also includes the likely original but damaged case.
This instrument arrived in a state of disrepair and was lovingly restored by Stringhouse Lutherie, who did an incredible job bringing it back to life! The work included several splints to repair top cracks, a bridge reglue, correcting loose braces, a crack repair on the back, and a full fingerboard planing and refretting.
