Brent McElroy’s Generation 2.1 Standard Model is a powerhorse (that’s the intersection of powerhouse and workhorse) dressed to the nines with Adirondack Spruce on top, Claro Walnut back and sides, and a gorgeous Amboyna Burl rosette. The voice here is characterized by a dry, woody response that fires right off the top with a quick decay that makes for added clarity on those fast passages.
